Transferring courses between Garmins

I had a Garmin 705 which I recently upgraded to an 800. With the 705 you could send a course to another 705. Is this possible with the 800, I cannot find it anywhere.

can't you just copy and paste via computer.

Didn't make the post clear, sorry. you could send a friend or other user a course wirelessly, so they had the same course as you. usefull on club runs if someone has preloaded it

You could try asking on the Garmin forums. I have an 800 and I haven't seen any such option. Given that the only wireless system it has is ANT+, I don't see how it could.

I've not tried it, but would it be possible to connect the Garmin to a mobile phone and transfer the file that way?
I've got an android (samsung) so it takes a micro usb. The Garmin has a mini USB. You can get a micro to mini usb cable for about £3. Would a file browser app on android be able to read the files off the Garmin, assuming it went into mass storage mode when connected to the phone?

You can't do it on 800s (wireless transfer between units)

One feature that really should have stayed from the 705 for sure!

what about using one of these to connect to a mobile phone, copy the file over, then transfer to the other garmin?
