I'm contemplating a bike fit,
which i thought i never would, but after messing around with my my cleats for ages, and that my left leg being slightly longer and left kneecap not being central like my right, im going to be unable to do this myself..
I'm North London EN1 although also around EN 11 area/Hertfordshire.
Ive done some research and there are Retul fitters but also some independent ones.
Example
hebikewhisperer: Insanely expensive, can it really justify the cost compared to a Retul fitter?(£150 exmp)
Retul fitter that heard about
BikeScience ,swiftcycles, Cadence Cycling Performance Center
Anyone been to these at all, and recommendations welcome.

I used BeSpoke in Farringdon. Very good set-up not only Retul, but they undertake tailored programmes, altitude training, physio etc etc. Not the cheapest, but I thought well worth it (I had numerous technique and physical issues to fix - dodgy knees, collapsed arches etc etc). Although they might make recommendations for fit and kit, they will NOT hard sell you anything; but if you do the cost of the FIT can be refunded it you spend above a certain point.
It's a pretty high end store (think Parlee, Trek Project One & Pinarello), but they could'nt be nicer / more helpful.Dry - 2015 Parlee ESX
Wet - 2013 Madone 7 Series
Commuting & general abuse - Boardman AIR9.2s
Carbon and electric everything. I've yet to get zapped and nothings melted (yet anyway)0 -
sounds like you need a pro fit, just take the hit and go for it.the deeper the section the deeper the pleasure.0

theyve recently opened a Retul fitting place in Jesmond, newar Newcastle - Looks very swish.
I havent had a retul fit but last time i got checked my right hip was WAYY further forward, i was almost sitting side saddle  which was causing me to cramp up often. Now that im straightend out its much better.0 -
I used Bikescience in Tunbridge Wells earlier in the year and to begin with was quite sceptical. I would now say its the best £150 bike upgrade I have purchased. No pains in knees, legs work much better and speed appears to be going in the right direction. The new position took some getting used to but now I am not all scrunched up and have much better posture.0

Also consider Le Beau Velo in Shoreditch. They do bike fitting and physiological assessment. I've had an exercise program and fit done there, in combination that's made quite a difference to my fit and comfort on the bike.
Funnily enough, a mate of mine was convinced he had one leg shorter than the other. He didn't, but he did have quite a difference in flexibility between his hamstrings which was causing him some issues.0 -
I don't think I've got many problems, its just that my left knee isn't central over kneecap thus causes problems.
I'm really looking for somewhere not that far away, from en1/en11
So far I've got the following places that I posted in first post still at top of list, so, anyone who has used them please give me your thoughts ;-)London2Brighton Challange 100k!

I know someone who recently had a fit at sigma in Kingston and couldn't recommend it any more.
Im contemplating it at the moment....0 -
£150 seems a lot for a bike fit. i know i'm not in London or the surrounds but i am having my first bike fit next week and its oly £85 for 3-4 hours including cleat set up too. this is Power Up in Lincoln so if you fancy a drive maybe worth a trip up the M1.Cube Cross 2016
