Garmin Forerunner, Edge 200 or Bryton 20?

Hello
After a bit of general advice from users of Garmin/Bryton gps devices.
I use to own a Foretrek which was good for the bike, running and kitesurfing (in a waterproof pouch). The operation of the device was not so slick and connectivity could be a pain. So thats gone and currently using android phone to do the job.
Thinking I would like something with better battery life than the phone, and something that doesn't mind getting wet/bashed around. Trail riding would be the most use eventually as I would hope to keep the running down once the half marathon is done. Gotta save the knees!!
Training for a half marathon run but want something that is good for recording top speed, distance etc and would be good to have this display on the device. I also require something that I could use on the water to track path, speed and distance. Not interested in ANT+.
So got it down to:
Garmin Forerunner 10 - waterproof to 50m (apparently?) so would be able to wear on wrist in the water. Not sure if it can display top speed (not a complete deal breaker). Not sure how good this would be for the bike.
Garmin Forerunner 110 - not really sure of the difference from the 10? Maybe not waterproof enough.
Garmin Edge 200 - Breadcrumb could have its uses, can you plot coordinates to ride to in this device? Again not waterproof but can use this in an aquapac. Maybe not the best device to run with.
Bryton 20 - Still issues with uploading or is it getting better?
. Do all of the devices record points down to 1/2 seconds? I would also want one that connected quickly to the sats. I find the phone can be a bit of a pain here.
So, watch or dedicated bike comp? And which choice in each?

I was checking out the forerunner for my Mrs. Found this site which seems very good. You can get the 405 with HR monitor for less than you can get the 110 in most places.
Don't know a huge amount about them, but seems you can get a cadence sensor and do most bike type analysis / tracking you may need

I (literally 10 mins ago) bought the forerunner 410 with HR monitor for £130 from Amazon.
The 110 with HR monitor was £112 so I figured why not lol.
Will be used as a training aid for cycling and to track using strava, I was using my phone but it died and lost all my data for the umpteenth time today so bit the bullet
Was tempted by the edge 500, but its a fair bit more expensive (not much change from £200 if you want the HR monitor) and I like the idea of a watch as I can use it for walking too.0
