Nice holiday bonus... going to see the tour

In a nice twist of fate me & my good lady have booked a holiday in Annecy this summer. Only just found out that stage 20 of the tour starts there on the day we leave. Nice co-incidence. I'm hoping it will mean a bit of a party atmosphere in the town as well leading up to it. Never witnessed any pro cycling before so it will be a nice novelty if we can get anywhere near the action. No idea if this is likely to be possible or not so may check in nearer the time for any tips or strategies to help get a look @ Wiggo & co.

You should get to see them all ride out. Try and see them in the mountains too. Only then can you appreciate how strong they are.

You won't have a problem seeing them as long as you don't leave everything till the last min. Arrive with plenty of time. The roads are closed hours before. The town will be buzzing on the morning it starts, you should get a place next to the signing on stand, that way your certain you will see everyone riding.
