Been using the Koolstop Green ceramic pads with my Mavic Open Pro ceramic rims and wanted to find something that stops better. I also just started using the SwissStop green pads which aren't specifically designed for ceramics but they sure do stop well in wet and dry. Only thing I don't like is they're wearing pretty fast and I don't want to buy new pads all the time at SwissStop prices. So anyone tried Shimano's ceramic specific pads?

  • Pads wear quicker means rims wear slower... Considering your rims have been discontinued by Mavic, you want to extende their life... So bring on soft pads.

I also use the Swissstop green on my OP ceramics, which work well. Not brilliant in the wet I admit but very good in the dry.

I've just bought a set of Shimano ceramic pads so we'll see how they go.

So in short, I'm in the same boat

Would love to hear how they are. Thank you.

I am confused by what wheels these can be used with?

    Aluminium or carbon C24's?
