I have a felt bike with a Prologo Zero T2.0 saddle and am looking for a saddle bag to fit to the rear of this saddle.
Ideally as close to a factory fit look as possible whilst being practical, light and looking like it was meant to be there.

Any ideas ?

  • Lezyne Micro caddies are nice. Don't make the mistake I did and get one (okay two) in white. Black is fine.
  • Actually, scratch that, you'd hate it. The saddle bag comes with two slots for tyre levers, but AFAIK none other than the Lezyne ones fit - and they're REALLY EXPENSIVE

My advice would be to decide what you want to carry and then find a saddlebag that it will all fit in to. Avoid any with quick realease clips as when you add to your bike collection it becomes a PITA to quickly move the bag between bikes. If you've got a spare bottle cage you could also look into something like this http://www.a1multisport.co.uk/products.aspx?prodid=452 for holding tools and tubes

That looks ok, I have 2 sections on my bike to fit these types of thing which i think I would need a bottle to drink from, a tool kit and a pump.
The bike is an aero type so ideally I would like a bottle to match.

The Lezyene are really nice and the velcro wrap system ensures a stable/secure fit and more importantly does not leave any exposed velcro that can snag your shorts. It also has a separate compartment for your multitool so you do not need to open the main compartment.

The ones with seperate sections are quite big though, no?

I've got a light which fits nicely around my seat post so don't want to loose that

I do like the idea of it in a bottle cage, but can you fit say 2 inner tubes, tyre levers and a multi tool without it busting out or rattle?

    This is the one

The separate tool compatment is beneath the main bag (just above the black velcro wrap).

    About £20 at LBS's.

    What is factory fit look?

Why do you need a saddle bag?

Whats wrong with your jersey pockets?
  • +1 for Lezyne. Good quality, easy to fit & look ok on bike.

Lezyne micro looks neat but maybe too small to carry much else but minimum essesntials

I personally don't like things in my jersey, not sure about the OP

Just been reading reviews on google on
BBB BTL-18L Tools and Tube Storage Bottle (Large)

It's simple but sounds like you can fit the essentials and some have mentioned being able to fit a mini pump in aswell, which sounds like a good option and tempted by it, as it leaves space on seat post for my lights
