XBox - F1 Sim?

Since son and heir has temporarily flown the nest and left his Xbox 360 behind, I'm tempted to press that big button and have a go. I'm not into games generally, hence I've never played on a console but I did rather enjoy an F1 sim I had on the PC years ago and wouldn't mind something similar to use on the Xbox.

Any suggestions?

    all the F1's are good - i've had 2 for the ps3, but on professional mode its unplayable - you actually skid on grass, what s that about - but it has a career mode and you get 'emails' inviting you to join teams - well worth the dosh :mrgreen:

    Yep simple. Pick up a used copy of F1 2011 by Codemasters, won't cos you the earth and its a good game.

    Yeah F1 2010 was awesome. Got it on PC with a G25 wheel but I'm sure it would be pretty good on the XBox as well. It'll probably be cheap as chips on Amazon.

    Thanks chaps. Order placed for F1 2012. I have a feeling I'll be back for advice on a wheel soon.

    Go to your local go kart track. Best F1 simulation you can get!

    Hmmmm.. and how much would that cost for a few hours, non-stop racing?

    My local track offers 30 mins for £15 every Monday night
