Recently in the Pro-Race forum there was a thread that turned into a discussion of everyones favourite Mountaineering and Climbing books. Apparently a lot of us cyclists are into that!

This got me thinking, are there any keen Divers on here? And if so, what books would you recommend?

I'm talking underwater here, not pretty speedos jumping off a plank diving.

I'm a keen diver, a Military Underwater Fire Fighter to be precise.

    I'll get my coat

That's the best type of diving

A Manual of Freediving by Umberto Pellizzari

a bit long in the tooth now but very instructive

it's been a while since I dived so I'm reluctant to suggest stuff as we know more about decompression theory so the advice changes...

Shadow Divers by Roberton Kurson is a fantastic read.
