Changing from square taper BB to GXP or BB30

I want to upgrade to a sram force chainset, and currently have an fsa tempo with what I assume is a square taper bottom bracket.
If i manage to get the bracket out, will it be indicated on it what diameter it is and whether it's italian or english screw? I have a bianchi camaleonte 2010 4, and it doesn't mention the bb anywhere.
secondly, will a gxp bb just screw into the bike, i.e. is it going to be compaitble with what i have?
cheers

It should say whether is it english or italian, everything else is not really necessary for GXP.
If you're on square taper then you will need the gxp cranks and cups to fit your frame, but I'm fairly sure all the modern bianchi are english thread.0 -
thanks rw. i emailed bianchi, they replied with:
FSA BB7420AL JIS 68-116 BSA
which to my untrained eye looks like an english thread 68mm?0 -

FWIW BB30 simply won't fit, only GXPMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
