Hi,
My felt z85 (2011) has a 105 groupset apart from the crankset. I want to upgrade the crankset to 105. I don't know what bottom bracket I would need to fit 105 53/39 5600/5700 double.
Could anyone offer advice as to what to get? It's likely I'll get a crankset on ebay that wont come with the BB.
Any help would be great!

Shimano Hollowtech 2. Any of the range will do e.g. a Tiagra one (cheaper).
Basically an external BB (so called as the bearings are outside of the BB shell).

You will also need the corresponding BB Tool.

Any Hollowtech 2 road BB will do; Tiagra, 105, Ultegra eg http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=11725
What crankset / BB is on there at the mo? Some FSA BB's are compatible with HT2, so you could just whip out the old crankset and in with the new...
You have the neccessary tools to do the swap?0 -
Is my post invisible??? :-)Yellow is the new Black.0

Thanks for the advice,
I currently have a square taper BB so will need to change it I think. I have access to the tools so no problem there. I've decided on upgrading to a compact instead of a double. Only reason I'm changing from FSA is I slight bend in my crank.0 -
You've bent the crank?? How big are your thighs??0
