Curbing my desire to spend, by selling my fixie....

what what what, i seem to recall that being a lovely clean tarty bike?!

Why thank you my good man! The tartyness of the bike is inversely proportional to the quality of the rider......

It is such a beautifully built bike, a sure testament to the frame builder. I even have a letter from the builders wife confirming the frames origin's.

On the classifieds, so, I won't troll here.

It is a beautiful, light and fast bike - My knees cannot do fixed any longer.....I am sad :(

    Will PM you a linky.

Anyway, the money may go towards Dura Ace for the roadie.
Link for all? I don't think posting a link would be out of order. I'm only being nosy as my knee is also cattled.

It's tricky, and it only seems to affect me with bike related stuff.

My downfall, or weakness is bargains - ie 70% off etc etc
Additionally CRC and Wiggle make it very easy to order clothing for example in the sale, as it is free to return, so you're not losing money if it doesn't fit, as it goes back at no charge.

For an example I need a new stem for my Felt, and have just ordered 3 from the sale at CRC - the cheapest one is only £14 in my defence though!

I think to really curb my spending, I would need to keep off the bargains thread, and unsubscribe from Wiggle/CRC/PBK/Ribble/Tredz and so on and so on, e-mails.

I love to browse, and if I browse I invariably find bargains......

    Scott CR1 SL 12
    Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2

Shock & Rocket slut myself. Hate the snipers!!

See these people here no concept of the great game we are talking about! - As for Snipers f$%£ing hated them - mostly because I could never get the hang of that gun - BOOM headshot! But easily overcome with the:

I too can't resist the sales, anything over 30% seems like I am cheating them.

In January I spent over £500 on bits I didn't really need to buy. I blame being ill and the carp weather, I needed to get my riding fix somehow!

How about this idea, reward yourself by allocating £1 for every mile you clock up or every ten miles.
Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.

Good Logic for those nearer the lower half of the SC stats, not so good for anyone with aspirations of a top 20 place come 31 december... :|
