Tubeless virgin, little bit nervous...

Thinking of converting my Trek Superfly 29er to tubeless. It has Bontrager Mustang tubeless ready rims on which I currently have a rubber queen at the front and a maxis beaver at the back. Will the kit below contain all the things I require to make the conversion?

I had one of these wheels and it came with a tlr rim stip already installed, thus eliminating the need for aadditional strip. If you dont have the plastic strip, id get some of those instead of stans and save yourself money. Superstar valves work really nicely and are cheaper than stans.0

Cheers duster. I'll check this option out.0

The link won't work for me, but as your rims are tubeless ready, you only need tape, valves and sealant. The Hope Stans Kit for £20 will do the job (depending on rim width).0

If rims are tubeless ready, all you need is yellow Stan's rim tape, 2 valves and sealant - save yourself a few quid as rim strip not needed.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Cheers folks. Assume you mean something like this...

check the RQ as sme of the versons of that tyre have a porous sidewall, - will use up a Fair bit of sealant to create the seal initially!
as the others have said, if your rims are allready tubeless ready then sealant and valves and away you go!Timmo.

Oh and 1" gorilla tape from amazon works wonders as rim tape and will save you even more cash. Great stuff!0

May not be an issue but the rim on these is asymmetric, bontrager do a rim strip specifically to fit, I have used them previously on bontrager wheels they work perfectly, I don't think they are that expensive either from what I remember.0
