Bike for Triathlon

Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance, but I have recently signed up for the London Tri and have started training. I need to get a road bike to use but was a little shocked when I found out that entry-level bikes are £500+.
I'm not out to break any records, I just want to get round, so I was hoping to spend under £200. I know this won't be a great bike, but looking at 2nd hand bikes on eBay has given me a little more confidence that I can get something decent. I'm tall (6'2") so need a relatively big frame, but I'm just looking for an average road bike.
Any advice would be really welcome.
Thanks

If you are in London go down to Decathlon and try out a Triban 3 [£299] or Halfords do a half decent entry level for a similar price.0

If that shocks you then you probably shouldn't look at the price of admission for a TT bike!English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0
