A quick photo of my new bike, a 2012 Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105:
with Shimano 105 front & rear derailleur, shifters, brakes & pedals.
FSA Gossamer crank, Mavic Asksium's & Aksion tryres.
Cannondale C2 stem& bars. Prologo Kappa saddle (not very nice)

Any recommendations on a good saddle, I'd like a black one.

With the money I saved my son now wants a new bike !!!!!

Could try a charge spoon £30 or a Fiz:ik Arione £70 as both these are classics that many people say are comfortable.

Ofcourse the saddle is very much a personal thing so you should try before you buy where possible.
    Yellow is the new Black.

Ha Ha....can I just cut the "dork disc" off ? I must admint it's not nice
    and it's very cheap looking.

I've never had to take one off before but it may be possible, it's a shame they put it on a high spec bike like that, probably some dodgy EU law...

Just cut it with a sharp knife and then they snap / break up pretty easy.

Lovely bike by the way. Like the colour scheme.

Forgot to say, it is there to protect your wheel in case initially the gears arent set up correctly, so just go for a test ride first and make sure the chain goes in the largest sprocket ok and doesnt over-shoot.

Yeah I just used scissors to make an initial cut then got a small knife to saw through the middle to the end, it snapped off before I could cut all the way through. Probably best to protect the frame as you're doing it, or take the wheel off. Nice ride btw.

I love my prologo kappa, but it fits my skinny backside perfectly, but as above a saddle is personal thing.

One "Dork Disc" removed....now that looks a lot better.

I've only done around 30 miles on it on the rollers and I starting
to like the Prologo saddle a little more, but I'm not too keen on
    white saddles.

I do love the bike though, it's a very nice ride from what I can tell
    on the rollers.

If it suits you, then the new Fizik Kurve Bull would get my vote.
