Beat me to it, was just about to post that link. Wonder if they'll offer medium sizes in 650b? Article suggests 650b is small, 29er for medium & large.Norco Sight Killer B

Have a 19.5" Setavento Ti frame nominally 26er, but so much room it could be built into a 650B if anyone wants to make me an offer.......can't blame a man for trying!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

It's doubly interesting as I was just about to drop my theory that premium/high end bikes will start having specific wheel sizes for specific sizes....We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Is there a reasonable tyre selection for 650B yet?Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

It's been around for a while. Liteville do their smallest size 301 for 24"ers while all the rest are 26", but the XL is now designed to take a 27.5 too.
There seem to have been a 'reasonable' number of 27.5 tyres at the Bike Place last weekend. Maxxis had High Rollers, Ardents, Crossmarks and another. Schwalbe are doing pretty much everything in 27.5. Conti are the only biggy who are playing it safe with one (X-King?). That seems to mirror other specific components too: the (slightly) smaller firms are really pushing 27.5, while the really big names are being more cautious (Mavic, for instance).0 -

Don't need much more (assuming you have the frame obviously....)Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Not reasonable enough for me lol.0 -
You wouldn't get any mainstream top end MTB carbon frame for that now! Even in 2011 a Trek Top Fuel frame was £3000, likewise an S-Works, Spark etc. Not just the niche brands. The prices have jumped up to rival the top road frames these days!0
