2 x 10 is the way ahead, you'll wonder why you used anything else, and of course Shimano XT is flawless, for durability, in any conditions...even a British summer !Trek Remedy 9.9 (custom) 2011

38-26 running 11-36 cassette, on 26" wheels, and 38-24, with same cassette, on my 29er, which works great tooTrek Remedy 9.9 (custom) 2011

U know my opinion! Definitely, girls are more atractive than bike, specially that one on rear wheel.
