I can't sit and wait for snow to melt, so I started new project.
I bought brand new fork from ebay.

Eh, most of the time people start with buying the frame, this time I try to match colors to fork.

    Thanks,
I'm thinking about full XT 2x10 group set
    Any opinion on that?

2 x 10 is the way ahead, you'll wonder why you used anything else, and of course Shimano XT is flawless, for durability, in any conditions...even a British summer !

Just out of interest, what are the tooth counts for the 2 front rings are you using?

Bit of an odd choice of rims for a bike like that?

    emseens Posts: 146
I don't think so, because I'm heavy and I like to ride hard.

38-26 running 11-36 cassette, on 26" wheels, and 38-24, with same cassette, on my 29er, which works great too

U know my opinion! Definitely, girls are more atractive than bike, specially that one on rear wheel. :D
And ur girlfriend legs are too short, but it adds charm to this picture.

I bought brand new drive train taken from new bicycle.
SLX shifters, front derailleur, cranks, chain, cassette
    XT rear derailleur
    Things to do:
    *buy longer chain
    *adjust gears
    *shorten hydraulic houses
    *buy disc brake rotors

I bought this wedge, but as this is meant for road forks, I need to adapt the cap, but I haven't got a time :/

Today I took BMC trailfox 29er for a test drive.
What could I say. Nice bike with crappy spec.
    Didn't like:
    fork
    saddle
    old slx group set
    brake
    wheels.
But, frame was awesome and I am thinking of getting one for my self.
