Sapim D-Light colours

I read D-Light spokes come in black (oxidised or chromed):

What does oxidised / chromed mean? I didn't think chromed would result in black..
I've found a site selling them also in white and red:
http://m.bikestacja.pl/spoke-sapim-ligh ... -4404.html
Are these painted?
BTW I worry about availability, in case I need some replacement in the future. Apparently they are the only ones selling coloured d-light spokes..

Black spokes are usually plated, which is a chemical process similar to chroming. The white ones in the link look painted though.
D-Lights, in black and silver, are readily available from a lot of German stores.0 -
Yes, I meant white and red ones are only available from that website.
But chromed spokes are black or silver?0 -
I think the 'chromed' bit just refers to the similar process involved in making them black (or a dodgy translation from French/Flemish by Sapim). I have bought black D-Lights and they are definitely black. I wouldn't touch the painted ones as they'll look rubbish pretty quickly and, more importantly, they add weight, which is silly when you've just chosen a lightweight spoke.0

Yes, I totally agree. I'll just take two white that I'll put near the valve, like AmClassic do in their wheels. ;-)0
