After some advice on a set of budget short reach shallow drop bars. Got Cannondale own branded c3s on my supersix which I really like for their flat profile along the top to the hoods, but on my new winter bike, got a set of Orbea alloy bars which arent comfortable for me. I have two damaged wrists through previous bike accidents so a flat short profile is better for me.

Im looking out for a set of c3s but wondered if anyone could suggest any other cheap bars? Shallow drop short reach would be my preference

  • my wife's focus came with FSA Vero compact handlebars and they look like they are a good shape (although I haven't ridden with them). This is the link to Wiggle's site: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/fsa-vero-compac ... handlebar/

Another vote for FSA Vero but beware that they size small due to the flared drops so you need to order the next size up. Deda RHM01 / 02 are a slightly deeper, rounder shape but a bit shorter reach than the FSA and less flared. Less than £20 as well and look more expensive.

Ritchey Curve. Easily my favorite shape.
