Very simple thread.

In one word describe how you feel when something interrupts or changes your plans so you can't go cycling.

RAGE

Happened to me today and I was not happy!!!

Bit of an overreaction, really. Reminds me of what I felt when I wasn't allowed to go out with my mates because I hadn't cleaned my room, or done my homework or whatever. At age 12.

It is disappointing, though, for sure.

    Relaxed.

Haven't ridden it since Jan 3rd and that was only for half a mile. Not missing it one jot at the minute, but might go for a roll on Sunday depending on the weather. After trying and managing to rack up a whole stack of miles last year it got a bit routine so I'm having a bit of time off, and enjoying it.

    Frustrated.

Especially this weekend as I've just collected my new bike.

And it's sat in the garage begging to be ridden.

  • This time of year...not bothered. Simply jump on the turbo and do some intervals. In the better months...stay out of my way.

+1, but rollers, not turbo. Rather be out in the countryside though, but at least I get to work off a little of the christmas bulge.

    +1

It's quicker, get to listen to music and I do not have to clean bike.
When I get back I use the spare time to buy cycling gear to cheer myself up

Since when has the weather stopped you going out on yer bike recently ? You just wanted to impress everybody wiv yer fansy shpelling.

Me - just have a lot of sex. Sometimes I even have someone with me

But I feel better than CiB. Did a very hilly 26 miles yesterday and got mashed in wind and rain. I have clocked up... 26 miles this year (road miles), but spent a lot of time on the rollers - they are the solution.
