  • Without doubt the best way is to try them on as different lids fit very differently,
ive the Fox lid and have to say that for the money I was a bit disappointed, had a giro hex before which i much preferred but it had seen better days!
The fox sizings are a bit odd too, xs/s s/m l/xl, i could get in the s/m hen I'd had a haircut but had to get the l/xl, couldn't help thinking they missed the most popular size out! As it is, mineson almost minimum size.

All of them are useless if they don't fit you, you need to set a budget go to a shop and try as many on as possible and buy the one that fits you the best as it's about protection. All lids must reach a certain safety standard but to many people are more concerned by the way it looks rather than what it's designed to do.

The 661 recon was on the Chain reaction secret sale - down to £35 quid yesterday.

I couldn't be bothered to try one on in a shop, just took a chance and got lucky. Up to you whether you want to do the same. Look up the sizing guide, but if I remember right in a nutshell <59 cm circumference is the sm/m and 59+ then the lrg/xl (I was 58.5 got the smaller one and there is plenty of room for manouvre each way)

you need to log in, so probably need to have ordered from them before./ But not sure if you create an account on the main page whether that would be good enough to get you access?

Yep. But the helmet is 60 quid on the main site and 35 on the sale site.

The private sales aren't even usually that good. The price they have 661 pads for just now is the same as they were on themain site a few months ago.

Login via the link above. It's the only way, but it's 50/50 as to whether you get in if you're not invited.
  • Well I havnt been invited that's a shame as I would of bought one of those
