For people who has both, how many pumps do you need to pump to the same pressure, say 110psi, using a floor pump (like Lezyne steel floor drive) vs hand pump (like Lezyne sport drive hp)? I would like a relative comparison.

  • I would say about 10 vs. 50.

    20 vs 100, about.
    Smarter than the average bear.
  • Looks like the general consensus is a 1 to 5 ratio then!

I normally give up before getting anywhere near 110 psi with a frame/ mini pump.

frame pump is for getting you home, track pump is for doing it right, you need both IMO.
  • Depends on the size of your equipment.

Personally I have never bothered with counting on the hand pump as it was a lot - hence buying the floor pump.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.
  • As iPete has already mentioned, you need both.
