Hello
I'm new to this forum and i hope to get some help
I'm going to buy a new bike, I'm driving on 15 year old, steel frame, 21 gear, no suspension, mostly sis equipped mountain bike. Equipment is at its last legs so i need a new bike.
After long and exhausting search i narrowed choice to two bikes.
Wilier 303 XC SLR/XT 2012 or Wilier 303 XC SLR 2012.
Here are the links to specs of those bikes. Weight is not posted but i found out that frame weights 1250 grams.

Personally i think its a great deal on those bikes, since its hard to get carbon frame and air fork for price slightly above 1000 euros.
I would like to know which bike is better because there are slight differences in equipment and price.
If anybody has a better proposition up to 1500 euros im open for suggestions.
I'll be very thankful for help on this one.
Cheers
Tomas

They are out of stock there.
The best specced seems to be the 2nd one courtesy of the Fulcrum wheels, SLX brakes and Ritchey kit. But little in it.0 -
Thank you for quick reply.
Actually the more expensive one went out of stock in size i wanted.
But the less expensive was still on stock and through whole process of payment it was as on stock.
So i hope that soon i will enjoy my new bike
Thank you for help

If you are dead set on carbon.
My only comment would be, whilst Wilier has been around for years and make lovely road bikes, they are not known for the MTB; well not in my circles anyway.
Would you not be better looking at manufacturers that push MTB as a signature line?0
