A while ago I ditched the big ring on my Canyon Nerve in favour for a double and bash set up. Now I'm a bit fitter I'd like to change the 32T 'middle' ring for a 36T - do I need to get a specific 10sp ring or will a 9 work (the latter are cheaper !)

Cheers

If it fits it will work, but you might have problems with shifting as the gap down to 22 will be huge.

Just for info on that, I was using a 22/36 combo and it shifted just fine on a Deore double specific front mech (the one I had on it....)

    and this ^^^

iirc front mechs are ok up to a 15/16 tooth difference so 14 should be fine
