I'm in the market for a new bigger backpack to carry more than the north face gulper i currently use.
At 9Litre the gulper is OK for minimal kit But I require a larger backpack to carry a bit more
Was looking at the zealot from osprey as i have one of their climbing backpacks so rate if a tad expensive.
But I should check out other brands
Like look of Evoc [colours - tart that i am]
Camelbak [had the original]
Deuter [look good valve]
Who else are good worth checking out
Occasionally I need carry a change of clothes so the main compartment would need to be big enough to take a pair of shoes and said clothes
Bladder optional
Budget max £70
prefer around £50 if any deals are on?

I've got a Dakine Amp. It's spot on and holds all I need with enough pockets. It was about £45 on sale, I think from wiggle but others had it.0

I did find the Dakine in a forum search knew very little about the brand
wiggle show only the 12litre

I've just got back from a year long round the world backpacking trip and used this everyday and now use it for mountain biking duties. Very rugged little (but big enough) bag!Whyte 9050 -

There is one here(I've got the blue but there is a different colour available too). £57, so a bit more than I paid.
It has a really good bladder, that is easy to clean, plus the back is sort of semi-rigid so whilst it is comfortable it still lets the air get round so you don't get too hot (in summer). Dakine are a decetn brand, I had a pair of their gloves I wore for 3 years - it was a sad day when they finally wore through.0 -
I have an osprey mtb bag (escapist) which I can't rate highly enough. Had several cheaper bags over the years and the osprey is so much better. My Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0

I have a Lezyne Adroit

Not the cheapest, but but it's properly sturdy, got some great features and the organisation inside is top notch. Don't dig on the bladder so much though so I use a 2l Camelback one with it0 -
Another recommendation for Dakine bags. I've had few normal back packs from them over the years and really find them comfortable. Currently have their Drafter bag for bike duties and highly rate it. Although for your needs I'd advise either the Amp or the Nomad.0

Another shout for Dakine. The Nomad is brilliant, the hydrapak bladder is the best, no question and is 18l capacity (separate bladder pocket). The Amp is also an excellent pack.Trail fun - Transition Bandit

been looking at something similar myself for winter riding, and having a mooch around several of them, the vaude splash 20+5 seems to have the best balance between layout / space / build quality / price

list price £70 but a few places doing them at £60. the only down side is that i think it only takes a 2L bladder0
