Hi , I 'm having trouble with my hayes stroker trail brake(rear). I recently bled it as the lever pulled all the way to the bar,and the pads are new. It worked better for a couple of weeks but now the lever pulls all the way to the bar again before I get the slightest stopping power. So I will bled again tomorrow but I have removed the master cylinder resevoir cover cap kit and noticed its completely dry inside the master cylinder , is this how it should be or should it be full of fluid?.

Any help much appreciated.

If there are no leaks then the bleed was incorrect. There should be some fluid in the reservoir.

Thanks , supersonic . So I should bleed the brake again? I did use the hayes (YouTube)bleed guide ,and will check the resevoir again after another bleed.
