    I guess it's that crap snow we get here, it gets really icy!

    Is that true? Interesting, In all other applications that I'm familiar with, harder rubber compounds last longer. Was toying with the idea of just replacing the front tyres for the winter, but read on that forum that it may nt be such a great idea.
