Minor accident today :(

While cycling in the snow in London road, I was very careful not to skid on the road. I should have avoid using bike in the first place but never thought the snow will be heavy today. Just at the corner into my mate's house, I skidded and fell down on the street I don't really mind getting some minor injury but few parts of my bike were scratched I am really sad today. Now looking to replace some few parts inc new bar tape i just put on 10 miles ago

I have few questions. My current bar is 31.8mm. Can I use a 26mm bar without replacing my 31.8mm stem?

Anyone having extra bar to sell, I would be happy if you could let me know what you have. Looking to source used parts to replace those damaged parts.

If I change the seatpost, do I need to change the clamp as well? I believe no right? Also, since I'm looking to replace it, should I buy carbon or just aluminium? Is the Thompson seatpost good? Is it carbon? (There's one currently in the classifieds).
