Anyone own a pair of these? Looking for a pair of overshoes for when it's cold (now) I already have a pair of altura shield waterproof overshoes, but they're not warm just a thin waterproof fabric.

I wear 45 EU/ UK 10.5 specialised tahoe MTB shoes. Should I go for XL?

Last time I tried a pair of overshoes, even for the biggest pair available (suitable for shoes larger than mine) I couldn't even put them onto the shoe. And the ones from Aldi are just for baby feet. So I don't want to order online to find they're too small.

well I went for the XL and they're too small! They fit onto the shoe, just but they squeeze the upper so much the shoe feels two sizes too small!

Hi, Tried replying last week but couldn't log on at work..

I'm 44/10 and xl is slightly too big imo due to 1.5cms gap passed the toe area. I wear shimano mtb shoes with time attak cleats where the neoprene requires a firm tug and pull the heal cuff around the rear of the shoe vigorously and you'll get them on. Once worn 3times plus they easily go over the heal and the zip moves better each time. The camo ones are cool :D well insulate feet even in snow

but they're squeezing around the upper and widest part of the foot. When I put the overshoe/shoe on, it feels like the shoe is two sizes too small.

For example I've worn the overshoes as slippers and they're only slightly bigger than my feet. Let alone the shoes.

The length is ok- a little bit of a stretch though, it's just the width forward past where you tie the knot on your shoe.

Just got some, mine are xl I'm a 11 or 12 in shoes. They are tight to get on but not too small. Seem good from first look and very robust. I'm pleased with them.

flybywire, your feet are quite small. I have Shimano touring shoes and they're 11.5. And when I wear thickish socks, they're a bit small.

The specialised are a bit more roomy around the widest part of the foot, but 10.5

Taken a photo. Length is good, although maybe still a bit snug, but not enough material across the top of the shoe so it's pulling the shoe upper together and down.

Even though a different design the style looks the same as the camo ones I've got so the cut is the same.. I commute in and normally wear M087 shimano shoes for most riding or northwave lizzard, haven't used the overshoes with the NW shoes but the M087 have a pronounced ratchet strap - not had a problem with the covers being too tight with me. Normally wear a 10 or 44/45 in most shoes.

Suggestion, not sure but maybe try to stretch the neoprene upper it could shape with a hair dryer or low setting/output heatgun? (worth a try from the inside to prevent outer damage, don't over do it  )

yes I would add that they're the best overshoes i've had with exception of the reflective strips which have peeled off - will have to ask the missus nicely to stitch some other strips to next to the zips :) for a permanent solution

neoprene doesn't stretch. Not like lycra

  • I have recently boughta pair of these £7.99 from Planet X I am size 43 shoe and bought the L, which fits my road shoes. however, I haven't been able to click my shoes into my cleats with the booties on. I have look cleats. The hole in the bottom of the booties tightly fits under the flnages on the cleats oon the bottom of my shoes, any ideas.
