Hope V4 Evo to Replace Elixir 9?

I want to get shot of my Elixirs as I'm just not getting on with them. Far too much lever travel when the pads wear - fine with fresh but come back to the bar over the life of the pads. I really like my cockpit setup though with matchmaker clamps to my shifters (X0) and Reverb remote so didn't want to move to the default XT option as stupid as that may sound (may as well say it first!).
My LBS recommended Hope as an option and doing some research on their range I think the V4 Evo would be most suitable for my riding. I ride all kinds from the Peaks to trail centres and am dipping my toes into DH. Also go to the Alps for uplift based riding so want a brake with some power and fade resistance.
Are V4 Evos any good? I've previously seen Hope brakes described as overpriced and under powered. What other options would there be to integrate with my cockpit?

The Elixirs sound like the need the pistons cleaning and the pads advancing - I would try that first, should cure them.
Personally I would not buy Hope brakes, are expensive for the weight and power. If I had to change to a more powerful brake I would go for a Formula The One:

They've been the same from new it seems. Absolutely fine until the pads wear then you're back to the bar alarmingly! It has been suggested to file a bleed block down and effectively overfill them? Is that what you mean by advancing the pads?
Do Formulas mount on the matchmakers then? I thought they might but wasn't sure. I liked the RXs on my Spicy so the Ones would be worth a look.0 -
Not sure about the mounting to be honest.
For advancing the pads, see the bottom of this:

Thanks for the links. Had a quick look at the new oval Formulas, outrageously expensive on the face of it? The Ones look like better value though. Apparently they will marry with the shifters but not the reverb as well although that's less of an issue in my eyes.0
