KMC chain compatability?

Hi

Getting a bit confused by KMC chain info on various sites (bikediscount.de, wiggle, crc) . Can someone advise if the X10-SL/L are compatible with a SRAM mtb chainset/cassette (10spd obviously)?

    KMC, Sram, Shimano - makes no difference as long as the speed is right.

    1/2x1/8 - single speed
    1/2x 3 /32 - 5/6/7/ (8 if stated) speed
    1/2x 5/64 - 9 speed
    1/2x 11/128 - 10 speed.

    all manufacturers will have these codes on them.

    yes. I am using them on 9 speed shimano and SRAM without any problems. why use 10 on a 9 speed set up? simple: a narrower chain is lighter. (weight weenie).

    Yep as above, works fine. Check eBay for X10SLs from Taiwan, generally about £20 shipped.

    cheers njee, will look that up (was looking at bikediscount.de as getting some other stuff from them anyway and always a bit wary of ebay for sellers based abroad).
