Assos - pricey, but superb kit
Lots of 'A' brands it seems!
Off the bike I like Howies and Hollister stuff, as I'm built like a teenager :-(0 -

I have a Merino baselayer which is my least favourite compared to 4 synthetic ones. Conversely I love all the Merino socks I have (particularly Woolie Boolies).0

I ride naked.I don't do smileys.
There is no secret ingredient - Kung Fu Panda
London Calling on Facebook

I follow the crackTrek Fuel EX80

Endura is favourite. Dead cheap (relatively speaking) and top quality too.0

I quite like Royal stuff on the MTB
And Sombrio
and on-one / Planet-x for base-layers
and dare-2-b for misc stuff which I may or may not wear on the bike.
And on the roady, I'm a big fan of Santini, however I've not tried Rapha/Assos as I'm not made of money0 -
Love my Royal shorts, slightly better design than my endura shorts, but they're a very good second. Like Njee, I prefer synthetic breathable baselayers comapared with merrino - I hate the way they collect sweat on the back. Then Decathalon for softshells.
Horses for courses, but I haven't gotten on with Altura in the past (shorts and jacket).
Army surplus waterproof socks ftw.0 -
Whatever makes most sense
Aldi/One one/Howies (£38 at TK Max), D2B (£25 at TK Max), Altura (MBUK subs gift), Karrimor (FRom days of decent stuff - cold test kit from work).......Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
All my kit is Dare2B, nice fit, wicking cotton t shirts and cheap prices make it a winner in my book
Oh and sockguy socks0 -
For riding gear, Fox (helmets, jerseys, gloves), Oakley (jerseys, shorts), Endura (shorts), Sombrio (shorts), Nike (base layers), Royal (gloves), Save our Soles (socks) and either Vans or 5:10s on my feet. For everything else (shells, gilets, etc.) I go for more 'general' outdoorsy stuff like Berghaus.0

I really like Specialized BG range, Royal and 5:10 for shoesBikes are OK, I guess... :-)
2008 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp.
2013 Trek 1.2

I've just started using Fox kit and its all great, have a 661 recon which is essentially the same as the fox. I got a Nema 3/4 sleeve jersey from CRC which is also great. Evoc hydration pack is better than my old Dakine, it's abit bigger and still feels really light, much better laid out too. I use 5:10's for flats and some Shimano MP66's for clips, again both great, the shimanos are load better for winter or any kind of wet riding though!0

Royal- mostly dh stuff, it's well priced
Altura and Fox- everyday stuff, it's ace and durable. Almost all my gloves are Fox.
LIDL! Most of my commuting stuff is lidl.
TBH I'll buy anything that looks decent but these guys have always delivered. Especially love my Altura Attack waterproof shorts and my Fox Poacher jerseys.Uncompromising extremist0 -
Actually becoming a big Dakine fan
Nice cut, and quality bit pricy but not over the top0 -
Oh....this thread has dented my wallet muchly.0

Endura shorts, Royal jerseys, 661 gloves. Tried other stuff but I'm built a pipe cleaner and the sizing and cut tend to be all wrong for me.0
