Please dip your lights when off-road

I ride through Richmond Park on my commute every day and this year, everyone now seems to have one of those Stalag 17 search beams attached to the front of their bikes.

Please be nice and try and angle the front light downwards a bit - when I'm riding towards one of those things, I can't see a thing. Ended up going off the road the other day I was so blinded by it.

  • Good rant - we get quite a few in Milton Keynes on the redways. Thought they were filming some sort of alien/space landing scene with some of the stupidly fitted lights facing upwards not at the pathway.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Yep, someone almost had me in the Bridgewater Canal on this mornings commute, totally dazzled me. Next time I'm minded to block the path and tell them the error of their ways.
