Stick with Talon or look at something else?

After having my Giant Talon 0 2010 Stolen over new year im looking at getting another bike after finally getting over feeling violated. This was my first serious bike purchase and got quite attatched to it and dont know if to stick with something similar spec and price wise or look at other makes. This question has probably been asked thousands of times on here but before i decide would like to know what you guys think. Much apprecited.

Is a decent bike - ideal for general trails and cross country. Newer ones aren't so good value though.0

It depends on what you want to use it for. Trails and XC - fine as Supersonic says but there are always options. Try before you buy if you can.0
