Avid adaptor with deore calipers

Would a 180 avid IS to post mount adaptor work with a deore caliper?

Yes, you just don't use all the tri align gubbins.

Thanks but what do you mean by tri align?

Avid brakes come with a load of alignment washers. So if you have any, for whatever reason, they go with the caliper, and not adaptor, hence the adaptor will work for you.
