Hi All,

I am in the market for a new turbo trainer for my studio.

Its supposed to have a good feel and be fairly decent.

The Elite SuperCrono Forte Digital Trainer is looking like a good trainer with its Wireless Display.

I am aware that the power meter isn't true to life, but having the wireless digital display means my clients don't need cycling computer etc.

I am looking for any owners reviews of comments.

Thanks in advance.

Noel

  • I have the newer version the Qobo Digital Wireless:

It does indeed have a good ‘road’ feel and it's a well constructed, sturdy unit . The cadence feature is pretty frantic when it’s only reading from the wheel, but it’s ANT+ so if you already have your sensor on the bike it’ll sinc off that and give you a more accurate, steady reading (it’ll also sinc up an HRM). I like the wireless head unit and the pre programmed sessions are really good – I think I saw a video of Sky using them.

However my current setup is the head unit plus my Garmin 500 for extra data. The head unit is there so I can work off power. I know it’s not as accurate as a dedicated power unit but I can tap up the watts setting as and when I need to and the ramp up is really smooth.

I need to stick it on a concrete slab in my top floor flat to dampen the vibration – but it’s not a noisy beast.

Thanks for review. Its sounds about what I was expecting and hopefully the power is consistently inconsistent then it will be perfect :)

I'm glad to hear it picks up other ant+ sensors, cause I got them on all my bikes.

    Order placed!
