Quick question

Out of the two mentioned, although both not great, I'm thinking of 'upgrading' to the FSA Gossamer.

Question is - am I wasting my time with the FSA?

Thanks

Darren

    I've took a chance. If they're crap I'll re-list them. :D

I've used the Gossamer brakes and fitted with a decent set of pads they were ok tbh.
  • IME ( limited ) calipers don't seem to make much difference. Pads do and so do levers (brifters).
I changed from cheapo tektro calipers to shimano 105. Didn't notice any difference until I changed pads.

Get the ones that look nice though!

I figured with the R580 only being single pivot design (though the later models do come with double pivot, mine are single), the change to a double pivot and upgraded pads (Kool Stops) will be a big difference to what I currently run with SRAM Rival brifters.

    At least in theory :)
