how cool is this. Dubai had a new 50-odd km dedicated cycle road/track... and HRH decides to go for a ride on it ..

    That's really good, 50k of smooth new tarmac that's never likely to get potholes :D

    Does it go anywhere, is it circular, is it flat, does it go straight out to that nice beach (pictured) and end suddenly?

    I like the idea of 50k of smooth, traffic-free tarmac, but the scenery looks like an early Star Wars set.

    And I think the mudguards could probably go.

    It will be a great ride until you see one of the HRH's coming towards you at 100+ in a Ferrari.

    Yes, I know it's supposed to be a cycle lane, but traffic rules don't seem to apply to them.
