15 days in and it's been easier than I hoped, considering the amount I drank before...

Things I have learned.

All non alcoholic 'wines' suck.
Becks blue is OK, but largely pointless
Elderflower cordial is a nice grown up feeling alternative, or ginger beer.
My coffee addiction has got worse.
I'm sleeping better.
Without even trying I've lost 4 lbs.

I might aim for three months off if I keep going like this.

I don't see the point in drinking non alcoholic versions, it's just not right, If your going dry then just drink normal stuff.

Sometimes I do wonder why I drink, life seems a little better without it, until you end up going out on the lash that is....

It's having something in your hand to drink when sitting down in the evening in front of the TV, plus I don't like sweet drinks that much.

For me, and I suspect for many people, having an alcoholic drink is habit as much as anything so I was seeing what could replace that.

yeah i've stopped drinking for january as well and feel much better for it. however some people at work seem determined to make me start drinking again!

Loads in work have started, from what I can see most have failed already!

I have an enforced 2 weeks off a month and I find I want it less when I get back, don't bother having any in the house anymore and only drink now when out with friends, even then its only a couple.

I have given up during the week. No point in kidding myself im going to give up totally. I like the sauce too much.

I had a dry october and haven't got round to starting again, and i've never felt better

Fell off the wagon for my birthday, had less than a bottle of red and have felt like crap all day today.
