New to road biking

Hello everybody on Bike Radar. I am new to road biking but I would like to get involved.

I am based near Overseal in Swadlincote.

Is there any local rides around this area anybody knows of?

I would think the Coalville Wheelers might be worth a look. They do have a website and meet at Heather on Sunday mornings for a ride with a cafe stop. Quite a sociable bunch.

We are indeed. I did not jump straight in with this as I wanted to see what type of thing the op was after B-) but yes our
sunday morning run @ 9am from Heather is friendly and doesn't leave olk behind. Just as well or I wouldn't keep up :$
