Ahhh, goodbye Pinarello. No wonder all the Chinarello listings on ebay were cancelled.

I'll get the full gem tomorrow on who I was told makes the Sky Dogma's but I remember the story now that the reason Sky didn't go to Specialised or Trek was that these brands insist on supplying stock frames. The chap who gave me the story is an ex Pro Triathlete and sells Pinarello's/Treks/Giants etc so isn't trying to blacken the name. He says the stock Dogma is rock hard to ride, even for a pro bike, although it's very stiff and the sharpest handling frame he's ever ridden. The Team bikes are nicer to ride apparently. Anyway, I'll get the story tomorrow as I say so long as the proprietor has made it to work through the snow!
The prince frame is hard to ride also as are most Carbon bikes.
Think your mate talking bit of bollox, Pinarello have had close links with british cycling for years providing ODP riders with bikes for years track and road, mixture of prince and FP2 frames, sky closely linked with BCF so why would they go with Trek or Specialised when already supported by Pinarello? Not sure how you can make a very stiff carbon frame any easier to ride than any other stiff carbon frame ?

Indeed be may be talking bollocks. Popped into the shop this morning though and checked the details. He says the Team bikes are made by a company called 'British Performance Cycles'. He also says Halfords will no longer be selling anything above entry level Boardmans from now on. His shop have this week dropped Pinarello since the Halfords tie up!
