Which bike to buy??

Your thoughts on the below 2 bikes please guys. A bit stuck in making a final decision!!

Any suggestions for alternatives also welcome. Trying to get as much as possible for my £500 budget. (16"-18" frame required)

    Much of a muchness. 16" is pretty small.

    The diamnondback edges it on the forks, the GT on brakes and drivetrain, so personally I'd go with the GT.

    CD is just boastuing again.....I'm 5'10" and I ride a 16".
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    i recently bought a diamond back axis on sale from £1400 to £800 and i have to say i was a little bit apprehensive at buying a diamond back probably due to brand snobbery! but the bike is kitted with excellent componentry and after riding it i dont regret it. so i would say go for the diamond back.
