Hi all
Long time lurker and infrequent poster but finally jumping in to ask some advice please...
Both the above are available at Paul's Cycles for £500- £600.
I am moving on from my somewhat battered early 2000s Kona Blast and wondered what would be the recommendation of these two bikes?
The aspect I think is lighter and better specced than the SL1 but I cat find many review for it.
Whatever I choose id like the frame to be worthy of upgrades in the future.
Riding is mostly at Sherwood pines trail centre, and occasional commute and a bit of trailer pulling with my two boys in the back!
I think also the Voodoo and Rockrider bikes at this price point are well regarded I just saw the Scot at almost half price and thought it looked promising.
Any advice gratefully received :-)
Many thanks

I'm not familiar with the Scott but I am with the Cannondale. I purchased the SL1 at Xmas as I think its a pretty good deal. I would say it is the better of the two bikes, better fork and renowned Cannondale frame very capable of taking upgrades.
I am biased tho, i'd had a Cannondale Trail previously and liked how it rode so it was an easier choice for me coming back to MTB'ing. I'm sure the Scott is very capable.
On a different note, service from Pauls Cycles was very good. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.0
