I've been commuting for a few years on Giant and Felt hybrids and fancied something (hopefully) quicker and for longer rides. Feel a touch out of my depth looking at some the more exotic brands on here, but this is my Dutch lovely Famke.

Very nice. I love a white bike. What's the set up?

You've got to have matching cages though ;)

Nice bike, I went along to Merlin recently and I must say I was impressed with the sensa bike range. They had a nice finish to them.
I particularly liked their wheelsets also. You will have to keep us informed on how your wheels perform and hold up.

Not sure I've got enough experience or know how to give an informed verdict on the wheelsets - what should I look/feel for in a decent set? The RA comp is the bottom of the supra range so will find out how they are. The finish is lovely - the welds are virtually unnoticeable on the top half of the bike.
  • Hi there- Which mudguards are you running on your bike, and are they proving effective? I'm looking into protecting my own Romagna for the winter so I'd be keen to hear of your experience. Thanks!

  • I have this bike as a winter ride and have fitted SKS Raceblade long with no issues and i'm very happy.

Sorry for jumping in when your question was directed at the OP, but they look very like Crud RoadRacers. Can't comment how they perform on the Romagna but I am very impressed with how they are working on my Specialized Allez. I resisted using mudguards for ages because I hated the look of them. Have to say I'm now a convert - they still look hideous but let me ride in all weathers - something I'm enjoying more than I thought I would, much more enjoyable than a turbo session as well

    Cheers

  • Yeah, it seems that they were the Crud RoadRacers. The Romagna actually has a pretty decent clearance so it shouldnt have any issues fitting that particular set.

In the end I went for SKS Raceblade long's myself, they feel much sturdier in my opinion. They quick clip on/off system is also really good for storage. I'm very impressed with the design.

  • Bo/Luke, bike is hard to see. One word of advice when shooting bikes, you need to distance yourself from the bike or get down on your haunches or knees to take pix, otherwise it looks like a sparrow's eye view.

Other than that, ride the snot outta it!
