Not sure if anyone here will know the answer - but i'll ask anyway.

I have a couple of Sufferfest movies which I have on my ipad. I have many other movies on my ipad also. Ones I have ripped from DVD's and ones bought. Everytime I plug in my ipad - it needs to resync the sufferfest videos. Only them - all my other movies are ok. They are all stored in the same location on the PC. It is a real pain because sometimes it won't sync them properly and they are then not able to be watched until I sync the ipad again. It takes ages because they are large files.

Has anyone else had this issue? or know how to resolve it?

Thanks

It might be that the ipad doesn't 'like' them. Some encoding problem etc. Best thing is to re-encode then for ipad compatibility. I use this and is free.... and brilliant.

The only issue I had with Sufferfest and iPad was that one of the more recent ones was too high quality and needed to be reformatted to work - there's an option in iTunes to save an iPad version of a movie.

I have a simiar problem on my old laptop. Screen freezes but the audio track keeps going. just noticed it happening, used to work perfectly up to last week. Think I might consider transferring them over to my ipad but reckon I'd need some decent speakers to get the most out of it...

  • Slightly off topic but might be a help to you - I use this for Sufferfest http://www.airplayit.com/

It's free, I don't have to clog up the iPad with huge movies or have troublesome compatibility issues - just stream the suffering to your iPad from your Mac/PC ... it works a treat!

    End of public service announcement.
