6 out of 8 pb's on strava this afternoon
Climbs compared to last week are approx 45-60 seconds quicker
So in many cases around 10% for the segment.
So the swop from a 12-28t to a 12-30t cassette worked for me!
Next test the b@stard I've not managed to get over yet!!

well done thats a good result...mines booked in for tomorrow for new 50-34 sora crank(has standard on ), and 11-30 rear cassette.
New carbons forks to go on if postie brings them in time.
Dont know when ill try them as snow here but hope my results will be like yours.Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori0 -
Cheers elderone, not sure about you but I just feel the easier gears suit me at the moment on the climbs, and I can spin up them a lot better without my heart rate going mad... Plus I don't use the easiest gear but its there in reserve
To be honest I found myself dropping down a cog or 2 and standing up for a bit which I struggled with before, I'm not too worried about my times but its good to see I'm making progress0 -
Thats what im hoping to do.Doing hills on a standard is really tough going and as you say HR goes sky high.To me,time and speed etc is not priority as i ride to my heart rate and that wont change.Hopefully though things will improve but keep HR lower.Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori0

:?: don't know... No doubt about it the whole range of gears feels different, or maybe it's in my head lol but I seem to have found a sweetspot gear up climbs. Also I have lost the 7lbs I put on over Xmas already, so maybe a litte bit fitter0 -
