Hi all, I'm running a campag compact groupset , and on the flat am finding the most comfortable gearing for me is, high gear on the front drealieur a d either 3or 4 from the largest ring on the rear, but I'm getting a little drag on the front drealieur whre it does not have a clean run, so should I...

Man up and run in a lower gear so the chain is straighter and I wind have the problem
Change my rear cassette for a better geared group for me
Adjust the angle of the front drealieur by a few degrees to stop the drag
Or is their another option

Should run clean until largest rear (second to largest at the very least) when on large front chainwheel.

Does your front mech have 'trim' as this allows the front mech to move over very slightly to provide extra clearance (but not shift).

If not sounds like your front mech needs adjusting.

Mmmmmm, well, it used be when I Dow shifted on the front it did trim, I don't know what I have done while I have been playing with it, but now it drops straight into low gear? Any thoughts

Ok, are we talking limit screws, or something else, what would stop the trip from working in the first click

Cable tension and lubrication of the spring.
