Cycle Tunnel needed at Greenwich

If you wish to cycle under/over the Thames at Greenwich you can go west to the Rotherhithe Tunnel or further west to Tower Bridge. TfL propose building new road tunnels from the Dome to Silvertown (roughly following the path of the cable cars). On Wednesday 9 January Michelle Dix said at a public meeting "there is no demand" for a cycling tunnel

We need to prove there is a case for providing for the needs of cyclists. We cycle because we need to get places - not just because it's a fun thing to do at weekends! There are two foot tunnels in the borough of Greenwich and cycling is allowed in neither.
