Thinking of adding a full sus to go with my blue pig, don't want to spend more than £1500 I'm happy to buy 2nd hand as I got my blue pig like that. Looking for a full sus with at least 140mm travel something that is great round trail centres but also stand abit of downhill and also a trip to the alps. Any suggestions please?

Canyon
Or if you are capable of building yourself, I'm sure there's some lovely bargains to be had to go with the £600 Titus El Guapo frame from On One0 -
I'd go with the canyon al+ if you have to have 140mm travel but look at places like pauls cycles for much reduced 2011/2012 stock on certain brands, could get a good spec trance for that amount.0

Saracen Ariel 141 worth a look, or the Vitus escarpe 2.0
-
GT Distortion? OK, is not 140mm travel, but is designed to be an allrounder with some tough parts.

Whatever Paul's Cycles has in stock that you like the look of.2011 Giant Trance Ltd, 2016 Revs, XT bits etc.0

I've got a 2011 Trance X3 which has been superb. 125mm travel but rides like it has more. Critically it pedals uphill brilliantly as well. Capable of conquering anything the UK trail centres have to offer. Good deals on Pauls cycles at the minute. The older models have held their prices because they are better spec'd than the newer equivalent.
Alternatively, Norco Sight 3, YT Industries Wicked. Canyon as mentioned.
Second hand you could pick up a Santa Cruz Nomad, Orange 5 or decent Stumpy/ Enduro.0 -

Isn't that basically a slope bike with a dropper post and longer fork? The toptube looks rather short!0 -
Top tube is 600mm for the large. Seat angle 73, so the geo has been adapted to the fork.0

Rode one of these, wicked bike. It takes abuse better than most 140mm bikesTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Def looking at canyons like the look of the nerve al+ 6.0 or if I can stretch the money al+ 7.0 or a strive al 7.0, also like the look of the yt industries wicked 170 or wicked comp. Other bikes I like are specialized stumpjumper fsr evo or the enduro comp, lapierre spicy 316 or zesty 2160

If you can, give them a test. if not, get the GT ;-)0
