Normally I would be delighted to wake up to snow. I absolutely love it (not to ride in obviously).
The last 8 months haven't been normal though and I am completely sick of warm rain so I was pleased to be able to get out this morning and have a nice dry ride.0 -

Come on elderone, get the winter woolies on and get out there. Myself and my wife went out this morning as it was coming down quite heavy, was a bit cold but we still enjoyed it. ( though it was too cold for our usual coffee stop at canal central )SOLITUDE. It's not for everyone.

Was group riding on top of the valley into a snowy head/crosswind which wasn't very pleasant. It was too wet to settle though luckily0

3c, blowing a gale and a bit of wet snow in Berkshire. Less wind, colder but sunny tomorrow, so I shall be out as soon as the frost is off the roads in the morning.Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

Looks like about 1C tommorrow with light sleet/snow mid afternoon, so I'll have to leave earlier rather than later. At least the roads are dry, so there should not be any ice around.
Going for a bit of a clothing gamble. Aldi compression top, then base layer T shirt, then Lidl long sleeve jersey with a waterproof in a pocket. Altura shorts with Lidl leg warmers and 2 pairs of socks.
Could be a nice easy 25 miler as long as I don't die of hypothermia
Fingers crossed!0 -
