    Blimey!

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.
  • That's very nice, but not convinced about the FSA chainset! Celeste bar tape +1

FSA chainset doesn't look right :(
Get that saddle angle sorted too!

Nice frame and wheels though :)

I'd agree about the chainset. Fsa ones ain't the prettiest but that's what they fit to the team bikes Along with a gold chain

Looks perfect with black seat and bar tape though.
Presume bike isn't set up yet. I'd slide off that saddle onto the rear wheel!
  • There seems to be a lot of prejudice against fsa stuff, I've got to say I can't fault my chainset and calipers so far. It does what it says on the tin and the calipers are as light as anything out there.

The bianchi looks very nice and I know they tend to look better in the flesh.

With that seat angle I take it you only ride downhill? ;-)

The bars look very deep too.

Outstanding machine sir, Bianchi definitely the Maserati of bicycle manufacturers.

Your seat is at a bit of an "intruder" angle though

You're missing the point, no criticism of the FSA just doesn't look right on the bike. I've got FSA chainsets on my road and CX bikes.
  • You'll be 'out the back' on that saddle!
    Overall, great looking bike though........
Re the wheels, let me know how they ride as I'm really wanting a pair of Wheelsmiths next time around. What brake blocks are you using with them?
  • Very nice, but I am biased....

Hope you can get on it soon, only managed 100m on mine before settling it down in the spare room for winter.

Might post another pic of mine with new hoops on, roll on summer.......

All seat sorted out , hadn't actually ridden it so didnt notice this morning, as for the fsa i love its performance, it is correct for the bike and it looks better than a sram red . i like bb30 setup so shimano and campy are out as they use adaptors.

wheelsmiths are excellent used late last season and are great wheels very well built he knows his stuff. pads are swissstop red excellent pads.

    one word, stu-ning.

cool thing about pro bikes is they sometimes don't look "right" standing still (Barlowordl Bianchis were not harmonious) but this thing is just amazing. it's how Johnny rides it, how bad can that be?

love the bars, nice to see there are still some men out there who know how to bend over and take it (ha ha)

Liking that, I get your point about the BB30's, as much as I love Campagnolo's chainsets I would have to go for a BB30 as it's kind of pointless with the spacers. Hopefully Campag and Shimano will bring one out soon

    Campag do a BB30.

It's the red on the FSA chainset, purely cosmetic, not function. How about, seeing as you dropped a bomb on the bike, spraying the red stripe celeste? ;)

And whilst your at it, you'll need to sort out the red on the tyres and the brake blocks.

Hadn't noticed that as I couldn't get past the chainset, but yes.

lovely frame - but it needs a better groupset - is there a choice? no, it has to be Campagnolo !

I wanted to stick with campy but also wanted to go electric after testing it for a week, problem was it too expensive compared to the manual , i know ultegra's more in di2 but i got it cheap from france and the difference is not as great as campy , if they did chorus eps i would most likely change back as i only need the frt /rear and shifter.

    fingers crossed

had a quick spin today after my ride on my winter bike , it was fantastic as expected but better than i thought it could be, strange sensation were it feels almost power assisted , hard to describe ,its mega stiff and balanced but smooth as silk ,feels like your gliding along and when you stand up feels light as a feather .

Did you buy it from someone who worked with Saxo Bank?

Ha Ha , no there aren't any extra batteries stuffed down seat tubes or funny b/b's , if only :D

it is strange though, is like direct drive feels like your pushing down on the actual wheel

But then again, you're not using FFwd wheels.

    Lovely bike, though
